How do you recognize oily facial skin?

Oily skin produces excessive sebum. This can have several causes. Varying from predisposition to hormone changes. Because there is a constant production of sebum, the pores eventually become clogged. This is how pimples and blackheads arise.

How do you prevent oily facial skin?

The first impulse for oily skin is often to clean it thoroughly with a good foaming product. However, this is a bad idea. Foaming products are often too aggressive for oily skin, causing the skin to quickly become irritated. These types of products remove as the grease. Nice at first, but ultimately it is counterproductive. In response, the skin produces even more sebum. It is therefore important to stay away from harsh products that dry out the skin. Instead, opt for a mild facial cleanser.

Use this once or twice a day – in the morning and evening. Sometimes it can be nice to let your skin get used to your new cleansing routine. In that case, it is best to first clean your face once a day with a facial cleanser. If your skin responds well to this, you can switch to cleansing twice a day.

You can nourish oily skin well with Baobab oil. Baobab oil is a real all-rounder. The oil improves the elasticity of the skin and because it is quickly absorbed by the skin, it does not leave a greasy residue.
