Rosehip oil
Buy rosehip oil – 100% organic and cold-pressed
Rosehip oil (also known as rosehip oil or rosehip oil) is extracted from the seeds of the wild rose, especially Rosa canina and Rosa moschata. The oil has a high content of linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3), a light texture, and naturally contains carotenoids. Our rosehip oil is 100% organic, cold-pressed, and free from synthetic additives. It is supplied in dark glass to limit oxidation.
What is rosehip oil used for?
Rosehip oil is traditionally used as a nourishing facial oil for skin with uneven texture or as a recovery step after active skin concerns. Its light texture makes it suitable for daily use on the face, although evening use is preferred because the oil is light-sensitive. Store rosehip oil in the refrigerator after opening.
Rosehip oil for the face
Rosehip oil is used as an evening oil on slightly damp skin, after a hydrosol such as rose water. It fits well into a routine for dry, mature, or acne-recovering skin. Apply one to two drops with your fingertips and gently pat in. Read more in our blog about uses of rosehip oil.
Rosehip oil after acne and for uneven skin
Rosehip oil is often chosen for skin recovering after active breakouts. Its light texture and high linoleic acid content match the needs of acne-prone skin. Read more about using it during the recovery period in our blog about rosehip oil for acne and recovery.
Rosehip oil for mature skin
For mature skin, rosehip oil is used as a light evening treatment that supports the skin barrier and leaves the skin feeling smoother. It combines well with argan oil or jojoba oil. Read more in our guide to ingredients for mature skin.
Rosehip oil versus other facial oils
Rosehip oil feels drier than argan oil and is lighter than avocado oil. It absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy film. For dry skin that needs more nourishment, argan oil or avocado oil is a richer choice. For most skin types, rosehip oil is a versatile evening oil. Want to know which oil suits your skin type?
